Crown Paints and home improvement retailer Wickes have renewed their charitable partnership for a second year, reinforcing their shared commitment to supporting local communities by donating paint products to community spaces across the country.

As the official paint partner for the Wickes Community Programme, Crown will continue supplying paint to charities and community groups, helping to refresh and maintain vital spaces. The initiative also repurposes surplus products that might have otherwise gone to waste.

In 2025, Crown Paints aims to donate over 10,000 litres of paint, building on the success of last year’s contribution of more than 8,000 litres to over 150 charities and organisations.

In Chesham, Buckinghamshire, Bridgewater School received 50 litres of interior matt emulsion for a new on-site facility, The Haven, which will provide dedicated special educational needs spaces for one-to-one teaching and quiet sessions. The facility includes a large classroom, two smaller meeting rooms, accessible toilets, and kitchenettes, and will expand the school’s before and after-school care capacity to better support working families.

Meanwhile, Oswestry Senior Citizens Club in Shropshire, received 13 litres of Crown Paints to redecorate its interior. The newly refreshed space now better serves the club’s members, as well as 15 other community groups, including Parents and SEN Children, Men’s Mental Health, and Oswestry Neurodivergent Group.

And, at Whithaugh Park in Scottish Borders, the Rock UK Adventure Centre received 66 litres of paint to renovate its residential lodges. These updates have helped create a more welcoming environment for the centre’s young guests - many of whom are experiencing time away from home for the first time - enhancing their outdoor adventure experience.

Hannah Randle Hockin, Community Engagement Manager at Wickes, said:

"This partnership is about more than just freshening up walls, it’s about creating real, lasting change. Over the past year we’ve seen how a simple coat of paint can breathe new life into community spaces, and we’re thrilled to continue working with Crown Paints to support those who need it most."

"At Crown, we believe in making a difference not only through the products we create but through the impact we have on people and the planet. Our renewed partnership with the Wickes Community Programme is an exciting way to extend that commitment and support communities nationwide."
